Sheldon S. Schwarzbrott, D.V.M.
Dr. Schwarzbrott was born in Brooklyn and was raised on Long Island. He attended the University of Missouri (Columbia) for his undergraduate studies and was a member of the Alpha Epsilon Pi social fraternity. After obtaining his undergraduate degree, he spent two years in the military including a tour in Vietnam and then returned to the University of Missouri for his professional studies. Sheldon is a 1975 graduate of the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine and a member of the Phi Zeta Veterinary Honor Society. He is happily married to his wife of 30+ years and has three children. Dr. Schwarzbrott and Dr. Dribbon purchased the South Shore Animal Hospital in July of 1978.
Evan C. Dribbon, D.V.M.
Dr. Evan C. Dribbon obtained a B.A. in Psychology from Hofstra University in 1967. From 1967 through 1971 he taught elementary school in Queens, New York City. Dr. Dribbon obtained his DVM degree from the University of the
Philippines in 1975. He obtained licenses to practice veterinary medicine in the states on New York and Massachusetts. From 1975-1978 Dr. Dribbon practiced veterinary medicine as an associate in various Long Island animal hospitals. In 1978 he joined with Dr. Sheldon S. Schwarzbrott to purchase and operate the South Shore Animal Hospital that has grown to a five veterinarian full-service facility. His voluntary services include care of wildlife at the Sweet Briar Nature Center in Suffolk County.
He presently lives on Long Island with his wife, the two youngest of his four daughters, two cats and two horses. Dr. Dribbon has taught nature photography at Hofstra University. His other interests include horseback riding and snow skiing.
Treva A. Marshall, D.V.M.
Treva Marshall grew up in Great Neck, Long Island through middle school. Her family then moved to Palos Verdes, California where she attended high school. Dr. Marshall went to the University of Southern California and graduated with a degree in biology. She then went on to pursue a degree in Veterinary Medicine at Tuskegee University and graduated in 1986. Dr. Marshall moved to Atlanta, Georgia and practiced veterinary medicine for 20 years. Her interests include internal medicine and preventative care. Dr. Marshall is married and has two children. She also has two charming dogs and two beautiful cats. "Sammy" is a chihuahua mix rescued in Atlanta. Charlie is a dachshund who loves playing with her two cats, Nikko and Rex. In her free time, Dr. Marshall enjoys walking to the beach, playing tennis, and skiing.
Christine E. Bayha, D.V.M.
Dr. Christine E. Bayha was born in Queens but grew up in Bellmore, Long Island where her family still resides. Dr. Bayha graduated from Mercy College in lower Westchester with a degree in veterinary technology. During and after school, she worked as a licensed veterinary technician at a referral hospital in Mineola and at the Bronx Zoo. Dr. Bayha went on to obtain her DVM from Louisiana State University in 2007. Just out of school, she began practicing at a very busy practice in Queens gaining valuable surgical experience. Her professional interests include exotic/zoo/wildlife medicine and surgery. Dr. Bayha is single but has a long term boyfriend. She shares her house with a multitude of cats and rats, three dogs, two snakes, and a large unfriendly iguana. Dr. Bayha likes to horseback ride, travel, go to the beach, read books and sew.
